What they mean
A UK government-backed cyber-security certification that is independently tested, unlike the self-assessed Cyber Essentials. A machining subcontractor holds your drawings and intellectual property, so certification proves that data is protected. It's also increasingly required across defence and aerospace supply chains.
What Cyber Essentials Plus means The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register is the shared supplier pre-qualification register for the UK aerospace, defence and security industries, operated by Hellios. Registration means we've passed the standardised checks on compliance, quality and finances that buyers across those sectors rely on.
