Energy

In
brief

Milltech machines precision components for oil & gas, subsea, hydrogen and renewables in Norwich, UK — built to survive pressure, corrosion and load. We select the right material for the environment, from stainless and exotic alloys to bronze, all CMM-verified with material certification and full traceability, from prototype to repeat production.

Overview

From the seabed to the hydrogen economy, the Energy division machines components that have to perform under pressure, corrosion and load. We work across oil & gas, subsea, renewables and hydrogen, selecting the right material — stainless, exotics, bronze — for the environment each part will face.

Full traceability

What full traceability means

For pressure- and corrosion-critical energy components, every part has to trace back to its material. We laser-etch each piece of stock with its trace code and colour-code it by grade — so the right alloy is picked every time and the link from mill certificate to finished part is never broken, tracked live through Tricorn® ERP from raw bar to dispatch.

Inspection & QA

Measured, not assumed

Quality doesn't have to be demanded by our customers — it's an integral element of every process. Components are verified against specification, not assumed to conform.

  • 01

    CMM inspection

Coordinate measuring machines verify components against specification in our dedicated test & inspection facility.

  • 02

    Full traceability

Every job is tracked live through Tricorn® ERP — from raw bar through machining to dispatch.

  • 03

    Owned by everyone

The quality system is under constant review by every member of staff. Quality is built in, not demanded.

  • 04

    Every batch checked

All components and finished products are inspected to conform — every batch, every time, before they ship.

FAQ

Energy — your questions

Which energy sectors do you machine components for?

Oil & gas, subsea, hydrogen and renewables — precision components built to perform under pressure, corrosion and load, from prototype through to repeat production.

Which materials do you machine for harsh environments?

We match the material to the environment: stainless steel and exotic alloys for corrosion resistance, plus steel, bronze and copper where subsea and renewables applications call for them.

Can you make subsea and pressure-critical parts?

Yes — subsea housings, ROV parts, pressure vessels and housings, flowline connectors and other corrosion-resistant components, all CMM-verified with material certification and traceability.

Are you ISO 9001 certified?

Yes. Our quality management system is approved by LRQA to ISO 9001:2015, covering precision and contract CNC machining and the associated assembly of products, with full CMM inspection.

How fast can I get a quote for energy components?

Typically within 24–48 hours of receiving your drawings and requirements. Submit them through the quote form to get a competitive price and lead time.
